I have a certificate in Yoga Alliance E-RYT® 500 and RPYT® prenatal yoga and in 2010 I founded bak7yoga.
I used to work with management, employees development and sales and marketing for more than 25 years.
Yoga has been a big part of my life for many years and in 2008 I moved to Asia so I could dedicate myself to the intense study of the philosophy of yoga, and the diversity of many different yoga styles.
Based on Vinyasa yoga (movement synchronized to the breath) I have a wide knowledge of the many styles of yoga.
In Asia I’ve received lessons from some of the best international yoga teachers in Vinyasa, Asthanga Vinyasa, Lyengar, Anusara, Hatha, Livamukti (New York), Synergi yoga (Somon Le Bon, Australia), Tripcichore yoga (Edward Clark, London).
With my wide knowledge in yoga, I combine the many different styles of yoga custom-made for the people I teach.
I’ve been educated by the German philosopher Emil E. Wendel, who has lived and studied yoga philosophy and Sanskrit (the ancient Indian language) in India for 18 years. It’s the old philosophy from the about 5000 year old Indian Vedas, and following Upanishads, that creates the foundation for Patanjalis Yoga Sutras, which again creates the foundation for the yoga philosophy we know today.
Powerful yoga and relaxing mindfulness yoga are combined in bak7yoga for a giving and balanced yoga for body, mind and soul. No matter which class, the focus is always on making the yoga most efficient for every individual participant. The intention is always to make the experience as developing and expanding as possible.
Bak7yoga is about expanding – getting the best out of you, and develop your ability to focus, and being present with strength, balance, peace and pure energy.
